5th Punjab Pay Commission, Punjab Government Gives Fifth Pay Commission Bonanza To Employees

There could not have been better time for fifth pay commission recommendations submission by Punjab government prior to elections. The government has given a salary hike bonanza to more than three lakh employees working with state government offices. Chairman of the Fifth Punjab Pay Commission SK Tuteja to the government has submitted recommendations to the government and there is a massive revision of Pay Scales, Allowances and Pensions.

There is 27% salary hike which is more than 6th pay commission recommendation by central government. Moreover, the retirement age has been pushed to 60 years. There is something for everyone in the new commission reports. The FPPC recommendations will be implemented by government soon after elections are over.
